Scott Gillen
About Scott Gillen
After starting off as a stuntman where Gillen made a name for flipping cars and pulling maneuvers that few were willing to do, Scott quickly launched into a hugely successful commercial directing career.

Gillen's impressive client roster includes the likes of Ford, Merecedes-Benz, Nissan, GM, Volkswagen, Mini Cooper, and many more to his credit. After several hundred commercials Gillen saw the changing times ahead in the advertising world, he stepped out and added long form to his credit, in the TV arena. With his first TV series "Build or Bust" Gillen began forging a relationship with the "SPEED" network owned by Fox and known for it's prowess in the automotive world. The network that would go on to carry 4 seasons of Gillen's original and raw reality TV shows.

In 2007, after two very successful seasons of Build or Bust, Gillen stepped it up once more with "Setup." Pushing the boundaries of where reality TV ends and real life begins, "Setup" takes 12 teams of amateurs race car drivers and sets them up to compete for a chance at $100,000 and a factory ride on the GM Racing Team. Setup's first season pulled record numbers for "SPEED" and instantly green lit a second season where everything is again taken to the next level of intensity like only Gillen can do. Season 2 of Setup premieres February 21st, 2008 and is certain to pack a punch that not many are ready for.

Relentless and unstoppable 2008 brings Gillen's first feature film to fruition. Gillen is set to shoot "Hypocrite" shortly after wrapping up Setup's second season. "Hypocrite," in Gillen style, tackles the topic of animal abuse and mistreatment while commenting on how it is a portal into the human psyche. From dog fighting and abuse to mass killings and hypocrisy the story is glued together by moments of real truth about who we are and why we do the things we do. If there is one thing for certain, it is that "Hypocrite", won't be the last thing you see from Director and Producer, Scott Gillen.
